Alanis Morrisette’s “Jagged Little Pill” album loses all its angry-girl credibility now that you know the songs are about Joey Gladstone from Full House.

Was listening to a few songs from it today due to a “what song is this?” post on Ask Metafilter and while I was listening to the lyrics, I got a little creeped out that they were about Joey Gladstone. I’ve made some pretty bad dating choices in my short life, but I could never imagine being so in love with Joey Gladstone that I would cry in his shower. That’s just me, though.

Really? This dude?

Hey, you should do this

My co-worker Scott is an excellent runner and the one I constantly ask about workout advice. He's an amazingly nice guy so when I get the chance, I try to be nice to him too.

He's running in the Washington D.C. National Marathon (for the first time, go Scott!) as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training to raise funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. This is a NOBLE CAUSE.

If you want to donate money to this cause, you can do so here. There's a really handy guide that tells you exactly what your donation can purchase - things like prescription copayments or transportation to and from cancer treatments. And when March rolls around, think of poor Scott's feet.
