It has been a long first day of the convention. I’m not even AT the convention, so I could just imagine how tired I would be if I was actually there. Although it is two hours behind. Maybe it would even out.
Although I am grumpy from lack of nutritious food (seriously, today, I have eaten two handfuls of Sun Chips, 6 mini Snickers bites, 1 order of pad see ew, 1 and a half bottles of Vitamin Water and a tuna sandwich in the past 12 hours), lack of sleep (last night, I got like 5 hours of sleep and I do require a full 8 to be my normally adorable self), and numb-butt syndrome from sitting all day, while I was surfing Getty for DNC pics, I came across this picture and it made me laugh for like 10 minutes. Looking at it still makes me laugh.
I can’t even begin to tell you what makes me laugh about this picture. I love the lady’s facial expression - a mixture of both revulsion and thoughtfulness. It looks like she’s looking at the DNC speaker and thinking, “This guy is an asshole, but I kind of like what he has to say about this economy thing.”
